On a related note, Beat Magazine has re-launched the official website for their fantastic Zampler freeware SFZ sound module. Please note that this is a German magazine! Obviously, knowledge of German is required in order to read the magazine, however everyone can enjoy the free software on the cover DVD. According to the information on the official website, there’s about €800 worth of software and soundware on the cover DVD. The Beat Studio Starter Kit consists of several freeware and magware VST/AU plugins and a set of royalty free sample and loop collections. The issue can be purchased for €9.90 via Falkemedia. The latest issue of Beat Workzone features over 40 free Beat Studio Starter Kit items on the cover DVD, for a total of 8.5 GB of data. Including sequencers for recording, cutting or podcasting, synthesizers for melodies, basslines and drums, and a lot of effect plug-ins to shape your sound. With the „Beat Workzone – Studio Starter Kit“ the German Beat magazine put a complete virtual studio on a DVD. It was never easier and cheaper to build your own studio and to take the first step on the stairway to professional production. I am very happy to announce that Beat Magazine is giving away 3 copies of their latest Beat Workzone issue (containing an exclusive set of free VST plugins) to 3 lucky BPB readers!
